Community Connections Volunteer Trade Show is February 27 !

Dear Local Nonprofits and Community Volunteers!

Time for us to unite, to know each other better, to pool our resources, and to ask for help. As neighbors, we care about our community and we need more support.

Luray Downtown Initiative (LDI) and the Chamber have partnered together on a concept that could greatly benefit your organization. We are proposing a volunteer trade show.

A "what" you say? A trade show? How will a trade show help me when my resources are limited, funding is tight and the demand for my services is at an all time high?

LDI and L-PCCC are proposing we gather together in a central location, bring information about our organizations, invite the general public and educate them on what OUR community needs and how THEY can help.

We are planning the first ever Community Connections Volunteer Trade Show at Performing Arts Luray February 27 from 4 to 7 pm.

Organizations may participate for a fee of $10, to be used to advertise the event. We will try to provice tables; depending on demand, we may ask you to bring your own.

You will need representation and literature for promoting your organization. Remember, this event is for volunteer recruitment; please bring information on your volunteer opportunities! Please reply by February 17.
