We are excited to announce the Discovery Hike with Mara Meisel will be back one more time in 2023!
Discovery Hike 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. October 7 at Big Gem Park (736 Fourth Street, Shenandoah, VA 22849). Join retired Shenandoah National Park Ranger-Naturalist Mara Meisel on the 1 mile loop Clinton Lucas, Jr Trail to see what flora and fauna are located on the trail. Wear sturdy shoes as the trail is rocky and uneven with an elevation gain of about 100 feet. Bring binoculars, sunscreen, and bug spray. No pets please.
