The 10th Annual & Final Lois Jean Comer Back Road Challenge 5k run/walk took place Saturday April 6, 2019 at 8:30am at Maryland Avenue and 6th Street in Shenandoah Va. Race followed Lois Comer and Mildred Phillips' walking route from 6th Street left onto Shenvadel Avenue right onto 7th street and then a quick left onto Osceola Avenue. Then left on to 10th Street and right onto
the Back Road where the race continued to a turnaround point on the Back Road and then returned back to the start/finish line at the corner of Maryland Avenue and 6th Street. Proceeds from this race have gone to the Lois Jean Comer Memorial Scholarship which to date has raised over $40,000 in scholarship money given to deserving Page County High School seniors to help further their educations. We are thankful to all who have participated through the years. Thank you for all of your support and
