ZachTriggs stands in front of his Eagle Scout Pavilion project. This picnic pavilion was built between the little league field and the Shenandoah VFW Post.

Over the past few years, Shenandoah has benefited from several Eagle Scout projects. Big Gem Park has been the location of three such projects. Ever walk up the steps to the gazebo,.. well that was an Eagle Scout Project by Josh Gordon. Did you ever walk across the bridge to the swing set area,.. that was another Eagle Scout Project that was built by Andy Wong. Have you ever noticed the landscaping, flowers and rocks in the overflow area next to the playground at Big Gem,.. well that also was an Eagle Scout Project by EJ Enterline.

Zach Zimmerman’s Eagle Scout Project was putting in the playground at the Christ Methodist Church.

Years ago, many scouts put in Scout Park at the intersection of Denver and 9th Street.

Scouting really has made a difference in the Shenandoah Community! Thanks to all of the Scout Leaders, Scouts, and the Scout Leaders of tomorrow!
