We drove by Shenandoah’s Veterans Park on Saturday morning June 28, 2025 and saw where the murals on the walls at the park are in process of getting a new paint job. The west wall is still being worked on. The painting is being done by volunteer Lacey Sampson.
According to Shenandoah Town Manager Charles Jenkins, the previous paint was peeling off bad and it needed to be redone.
Shenandoah’s Veterans Park is located on Virginia Avenue across from the Post Office.
